Understand why your child does what they do — and know what to do next.
Five short modules that turn behavior science into plain-language strategies you can use at dinner, at bedtime, and in the middle of a hard moment. Written by a behavior specialist who has spent 14 years in schools with kids just like yours.
Five modules, in order. Each one builds on the last, so you're never asked to change a behavior before you understand it. Module 1 opens the moment you create your account; the next module unlocks as you finish the one before it.

Understanding Behavior
Learn to read behavior before you try to change it
Behavior is information. This module teaches you how to see what your child is getting, avoiding, or communicating, and how to describe what is happening clearly enough to act on it.
Why children behave the way they do
The antecedent–behavior–consequence framework
Identifying patterns in your child's behavior
3 lessonsabout 45 min4 printables

Positive Reinforcement
Make the behavior you want worth doing
Reinforcement is not bribery, and praise is not automatically motivating. This module shows you how to find what actually matters to your child and use it well.
Reinforcement, rewards, and bribery
Finding what actually motivates your child
Praise that works and fading over time
3 lessonsabout 41 min3 printables

Setting Up for Success
The work that happens before the behavior
Most behavior problems are easier to prevent than to respond to. This module covers routines, transitions, expectations, choices, and environment.
Clear expectations and predictable routines
Transitions, warnings, and first/then language
Arranging the environment and adjusting demands
3 lessonsabout 40 min3 printables
4 Unlocks after Module 3
Prompting & Fading
Help that leads to independence
Every parent prompts. The skill is knowing how much help to give, and how to give less of it over time so your child does not need five reminders.
The ways parents already prompt
How children learn that the first four times don't count
Fading help without losing the skill
3 lessonsabout 40 min3 printables

Reducing Challenging Behaviors
Replace, don't just remove
A behavior that works for your child will not disappear because you disapprove of it. This module builds a full plan: definition, triggers, function, replacement, and follow-through.
Defining the behavior and finding the triggers
Teaching a replacement behavior
Responding consistently and knowing if it's working

What makes this different from parenting advice online
PRACTICAL
Every lesson ends with something to try this week — with your actual child, in your actual house.

Fifteen lessons, roughly 14 minutes each. Do one a night or one a week — the course waits for you.
ACTION-FOCUSED
Printable worksheets, trackers, and reflection sheets so learning turns into a plan on paper.
SUPPORTIVE

By the end of this course, you'll feel more confident with…
Understanding what's driving a challenging behavior instead of guessing
Using the antecedent–behavior–consequence framework to see patterns
Telling the difference between reinforcement and bribery — and using both well
Finding what actually motivates your child instead of assuming
Setting clear expectations and routines your child can follow
Getting through transitions without a daily standoff
Giving one clear instruction and fading your help over time
Teaching a replacement behavior instead of only removing the problem one

14 years in public education supporting students with behavioral challenges
I spent fourteen years in public education working with students whose behavior confused, exhausted, and worried the adults around them. In almost every case, the behavior made sense once someone slowed down and looked at what came before it and what happened after.
Parents kept asking me the same question at the end of meetings: can you write this down so I can use it at home? This course is that answer — the same principles I use professionally, translated into language you can use tonight.
You know your child better than any specialist ever will. My job is to hand you a way of looking at behavior that makes your own good judgment more effective.
Parenting a child with ADHD — or a child who looks a lot like it
Many of the parents this course was written for are raising a child with an ADHD diagnosis, waiting on an evaluation, or simply living with the behaviors that often come with it: trouble stopping a preferred activity, forgotten instructions, big reactions to small changes, and homework that takes three hours.
The course teaches general behavior skills — reading what a behavior is for, setting up the environment, using reinforcement well, giving one clear instruction, fading reminders, and teaching a replacement behavior. Parents of children with ADHD often tell behavior specialists these are the pieces nobody explained to them.
It is not ADHD-specific curriculum, and it does not diagnose, treat, or manage ADHD. Nothing here replaces an evaluation, a treatment plan, medication decisions, therapy, or an IEP or 504 team.
You do not need a diagnosis to use it. Every strategy is written to work with the child in front of you, whatever label does or doesn't apply.
If your child is already working with a physician, therapist, or school behavior team, bring the worksheets to them. This course is meant to sit alongside professional support, not in place of it.
