Refund Policy
Last updated September 8, 2026
Understanding Your Child's Behavior is a one-time $97 purchase (plus any sales tax required for your location) from Elevate Behavior, a brand of Elevate Behavior Therapy. Because it is digital content you get immediately, the refund window is short and clear.
The refund window
You may request a full refund of the amount you paid within 7 days of your purchase date, provided you have completed fewer than 8 of the 15 lessons at the time you request it.
The 7 days are counted from the date and time of the payment shown on your receipt. Lesson completion is measured by the lessons marked complete on your account. This condition exists because the course can be read in a single sitting and the printables can be downloaded — it keeps the price fair for everyone who keeps their copy.
How to request one
- Email emileesimmons5@gmail.com, or use the contact page and choose "Refund request."
- Send it from the email address on your account, and include the date of purchase. A sentence about what didn't work for you is welcome but not required.
You will get a reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are issued back to the original card or payment method through Stripe. Stripe typically returns the money to your bank in 5–10 business days; the exact timing is your bank's. Any sales tax collected is refunded with the purchase price. Once a refund is issued, your access to the lessons and printables ends.
What is not refundable
- Requests made more than 7 days after purchase.
- Accounts that have completed half or more of the course (8 or more of the 15 lessons).
- Accounts closed for sharing logins, reselling, or redistributing the course materials.
Problems that are not refund situations
If you can't sign in, your purchase isn't showing up, a page won't load, or you were charged twice, that is a support issue and it gets fixed — you do not need to ask for a refund. Email emileesimmons5@gmail.com and it will be sorted out. A genuine duplicate charge is always refunded in full, regardless of the window above.
Chargebacks
Please email before disputing a charge with your bank. Almost every issue is faster to solve directly, and a dispute freezes the account while the bank reviews it.
