Privacy Policy
Last updated September 8, 2026
This policy explains what information Elevate Behavior, a brand of Elevate Behavior Therapy (Emilee Simmons, M.Ed., Rockwall, Texas, United States) collects when you visit this site or buy the online course Understanding Your Child's Behavior, how that information is used, and the choices you have. Questions about anything here can go to emileesimmons5@gmail.com.
This is an educational course, not health care
The course teaches general parenting and behavior strategies. It is not medical, psychological, or behavioral health treatment, and no clinical relationship is created by purchasing it. Because of that, the information you share here is not protected health information under HIPAA, and this site is not a patient portal. Please do not send diagnoses, evaluation reports, therapy notes, medication details, school records, or other sensitive health information about your child through this website, the contact form, or email.
What is collected
- Account information. Your email address, your password (stored only as a secure one-way hash), and the first name you choose to enter. If you sign in with Google, Google supplies your email address and basic profile information instead of a password.
- Course progress. Which lessons you have marked complete, and when. This is what makes your dashboard and module unlocking work.
- Purchase records. The fact that you bought the course, the amount, the currency, the date, and identifiers issued by the payment processor. This is what grants you access.
- Messages you send. If you use the contact form, the name, email address, topic, and message you submit are stored so your question can be answered.
- Basic technical information. Standard web-server and hosting logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, used to keep the site running and secure.
What is deliberately not collected
Card numbers are never seen by or stored on this site. Payment details are entered directly into the payment processor's secure form. Nothing you write on a worksheet is transmitted unless you type it into a page that says it is saving — worksheets are designed to be printed or filled in and kept by you. No information about your child is required to use the course, and none is requested at signup.
How the information is used
- To create your account and give you access to what you purchased.
- To save and display your lesson progress across your devices.
- To process your payment, issue receipts, and handle refund requests.
- To answer your questions about your purchase, account, or course access.
- To send necessary account email, such as confirming your email address.
- To protect the site against fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
Your information is never sold, rented, or traded. It is not used for advertising to you on other platforms, and you will not be added to a marketing list simply because you bought the course.
Who processes information on our behalf
- Payment processing. Stripe processes payments, stores card data under its own PCI-compliant systems, and provides a purchase record. Stripe's own privacy terms apply to the payment itself.
- Hosting, accounts, and database. The site, your login, and your progress records run on Lovable Cloud infrastructure (built on Supabase), which stores data on servers in the United States.
- Google sign-in. Used only if you choose it, and only to verify your identity.
These providers may only use your information to deliver their service.
Cookies and similar technologies
A small number of cookies and browser storage entries are used to keep you signed in, to remember lesson progress before you create an account, and to keep payment sessions secure. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser storage will sign you out; your saved progress stays attached to your account.
Children
This course is written for and sold to adults. Accounts are not knowingly created for anyone under 18, and children are not asked to use the site. If you believe a child has created an account, email emileesimmons5@gmail.com and it will be removed.
How long information is kept
Because the course includes lifetime access, account and progress records are kept while your account exists. Purchase and tax records are kept as long as required by law, generally seven years. Contact-form messages are kept for up to two years. When you ask for your account to be deleted, account and progress records are removed within 30 days; purchase records required for tax and refund purposes are retained.
Your choices
You may ask for a copy of the information held about you, ask for corrections, or ask for your account and progress to be deleted. Email emileesimmons5@gmail.com from the address on your account and the request will be handled within 2 business days. Deleting your account ends your access to the course.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit, passwords are hashed, and database access rules restrict each account to its own records. No online service can promise perfect security, so please use a strong, unique password.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will be updated. Material changes affecting existing customers will be announced by email.
