Terms of Use
Last updated September 8, 2026
These terms apply when you use this website or buy Understanding Your Child's Behavior, an online course published by Elevate Behavior, a brand of Elevate Behavior Therapy (Emilee Simmons, M.Ed., Rockwall, Texas, United States). By creating an account or purchasing the course, you agree to them.
What the course is — and what it is not
This is educational and parent-support content. It explains general principles of behavior — including approaches often used with children who have ADHD — and gives you strategies to try at home.
It is not medical care, psychological care, behavioral health treatment, counseling, therapy, applied behavior analysis services, an evaluation, or a diagnosis. It does not create a clinical, therapeutic, or professional-client relationship between you and Emilee Simmons, M.Ed., and it is not a substitute for advice from your child's physician, psychologist, therapist, behavior analyst, or school team. Nothing in the course should be used to diagnose any condition, including ADHD, or to start, stop, or change any treatment or medication.
Children and families differ. No strategy taught here is guaranteed to work for every child, and results depend on your situation and how consistently you apply what you learn. If your child's behavior creates an immediate safety risk to themselves or others, contact your physician, local emergency services, or a crisis line right away.
Your purchase
The course is sold for a one-time price of $97 in U.S. dollars, plus any sales tax or VAT required for your location, which is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is processed by Stripe; card details are entered on Stripe's form and are never stored by this site.
Purchase gives one person a personal, non-transferable license to access the course materials for as long as the course remains available online — described as "lifetime access." That means the lifetime of the course, not a guaranteed number of years. If the course were ever permanently retired, reasonable notice would be given so you can download and print the resources you want to keep.
Your account
You need an account to access what you purchase. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are for one household. Sharing logins, reselling access, or distributing the material can result in access being ended without a refund.
What you may and may not do with the material
- You may print the worksheets, trackers, and reference sheets for your own family's use, and use the strategies with your own children.
- You may not copy, republish, resell, share, or post the lessons or printables; use them in paid work, training, or coaching with other families; or feed them into a product or service you offer, without written permission.
All course content, text, worksheets, and design remain the property of Elevate Behavior Therapy. Professionals who would like to use the materials with the families they serve are welcome to ask about permission at emileesimmons5@gmail.com.
Refunds
Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Availability and changes
The site is provided as it is, and occasional downtime for maintenance or hosting issues can happen. Course content may be improved, corrected, or expanded over time; existing customers get those updates at no extra cost. These terms may be updated, and the date at the top of the page will change when they are.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Elevate Behavior Therapy and Emilee Simmons, M.Ed. are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the course, and total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid. You are responsible for deciding whether a strategy is appropriate for your child and for seeking professional help when it is needed.
